A good education is another one of those things you should be able to walk to. Mesa del Sol's first public school — a K-6 charter school, soon to be K-8 — is already up and running. It's called The International School at Mesa del Sol, and it is one of the first public schools in New Mexico to offer a fully accredited International Baccalaureate curriculum.

Thanks to our education master plan, more public schools will follow along with lifelong learning opportunities. We're working with local colleges and universities, as well as companies that are locating in Mesa del Sol, to create unique educational programs. For example, the University of New Mexico has located its Interdisciplinary Film and Digital Media Program in Mesa del Sol.
