Mesa del Sol Residential Sales Begin this Weekend

 

ALBUQUERQUE – March 29, 2011 – Mesa del Sol, Albuquerque’s visionary mixed-use, master planned community in the southern part of the city, will begin selling homes tomorrow. In the next 40 years, the community will feature over 37,500 homes and likely be the largest master planned community in the Metro area. Additionally, Mesa del Sol has received Green Build New Mexico's Four-Star-Superior rating, the highest certification available. Additionally, all homes within Mesa del Sol will be certified Energy Star 3.0 and New Mexico Green Build Silver.

 

“We are thrilled to begin selling homes at Mesa del Sol this weekend and look forward to welcoming our first residents this summer,” said Chris Anderson, Vice President of Development for Mesa del Sol. “We have three great builders and 17 unique floor plans for a range of budgets and lifestyles. Our homes are the most energy and water efficient, and we have developed a community, a neighborhood, and a lifestyle for our residents.”

 

The three homebuilders are Pulte Homes, Rachel Matthew Homes and RayLee Homes. Pulte Homes will offer two options. The first are 1,315 to 1,943-square-foot paired homes in the high id="mce_marker"00,000s to low $200,000 price range. The second are mid-sized single family homes in the 1.930 to 2,433-square-foot range priced in the mid to high $200,000 range. RayLee Homes is offering single-family homes with small private yards in the 1,697 to 2,048-square-foot range priced in the low to mid $200,000s. The Rachel Matthew Homes will be spacious single-family homes in the 2,374 to 3,033-square-foot range priced in the high $200,000s to mid $300,000s.

 

A full weekend of fun family activities have been scheduled at Mesa del Sol. The models wll be open for viewing from 10 a.m. To 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Also there will be buskers performing, face painting for the kids, and bicycle carriage rides. Rose’s Table Café will offer several grand opening specials throughout the day.

 

“Our grand opening reflects what life will be like at Mesa del Sol,” Anderson added. “This is the start of a great neighborhood, a place where there will always be something going on and someone to hang out with.”
