Mesa del Sol Breaks Ground on Two Parks

ALBUQUERQUE – February 19, 2013 – Mesa del Sol, Albuquerque’s visionary mixed-use, master planned community in the southern part of the city, broke ground on two parks – one for humans and one for dogs. Portrait Park will have the community's first pool when it opens Memorial Weekend. The 1.43-acre park features an active turf area, a founders wall with the names engraved of the first 100 homeowners at Mesa del Sol, shade structure, picnic tables, walking path and a playground.

Aperture Bark (dog park) features one acre of roaming room for people's four-legged family members. The one-acre park features benches, shade structures, mulch, free dog poop bags, trash receptacles and fencing and is the only dog park in the area.
