How to build a customer magnet.
Because the plan for Mesa del Sol begins with economic development, there’s a built-in customer base for certain types of retailers very early in the project’s life. Add in the large residential component, and the customer base gets larger. Then add in the attractive elements of the community design — the open space network, the Town Centers, the community events — and you have a huge variety of customer types visiting Mesa del Sol from morning till night. (As a matter of fact, we already have quite a crowd come out whenever there’s a concert at the nearby Hard Rock Pavilion.)
You could say that Mesa del Sol has a retail-friendly community plan. But it would be more accurate to say that it’s a people-friendly community design … which in turn makes it a very retail-friendly place.
