Albuquerque's Mesa del Sol development is a unique collaboration between governmental, educational, quasi-governmental, non-profit and for-profit organizations. And that’s why — if we may be so bold — the plan for Mesa del Sol is so darn good.

Mesa del Sol is a rare example of a project in which public and private interests are actually working together rather than mutually working against each other. That’s not to say that everybody always agrees on all the details. But because we have a shared goal — to fulfill the promise of this place and create long-term benefits for the whole region — even our disagreements have consistently left us with a better plan and a greater desire to make the most of this unique opportunity.
